Working for Ian Wylie Architects, this large grade 2* country house in the West Country along with some of its independently listed ancillary buildings went through several phases of restoration, alternation and maintenance to secure its future as a practical and comfortable principle residence.

Planning and Listed Building Consent has been obtained to extend and reinstate this Georgian property back into a single dwelling from two flats.
Consent was obtained for the sympathetic reinstatement of missing period features and modern enhancements. The consent included double glazing in historic windows, which formed part of the overall improvements of thermal efficiency, natural ventilation and internal comfort; as well as underfloor heating, new cornices and lighting design/ Amongst numerous other improvement, a new kitchen, master suite and shutters were also consented.
